Caught A Few Lessons. I Plan To Bag A Few More.

I take my birthday month very seriously. Yes. Birthday month-not just my actual birth day.

It took me a couple of weeks to reflect on my year, but I caught a few lessons:

Change is not inevitable. Some things stay the same for far too long.

You know you’re strong when you can make peace with your weaknesses.

The people who count on you won’t mind if you count on them every now and then.

...Additionally, the number of people who count on you needs to be edited, often.

Losing weight really does happen in the kitchen.

Stick to it for as long as it takes. And sometimes it takes long.

You don’t stop being worthy because you mess up.

If you want better, you gotta make room for it.

Take your losses and the wisdom that come along with you. Wise is dope.

Nothing is given. If you want it you gotta take it.

Apologies are overrated. I got a couple that didn’t change a thing.

Finding things that move you is so important.

God's Plan... I can't do this on my own.

This next year of my life already has me shook. I'll be sure to bag more lessons to share.
